เสาไห้ เป็นอำเภอในจังหวัดสระบุรี เลื่องชื่อในด้านประเพณีการแข่งเรือยาว ผ้าทอ และข้าวสาร จัดตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2437 โดยแต่เดิมเป็นตัวเมืองสระบุรีมาก่อน (ปัจจุบันเป็นตำบลเมืองเก่า) มีตำนานเล่าว่าชื่ออำเภอนี้ได้มาจากตำนานแม่นางตะเคียนเสาร้องไห้ซึ่งเป็นเสาศักดิ์สิทธิ์คู่เมืองเสาไห้ ปัจจุบันประดิษฐานอยู่ที่วัดสูง
