เขาคิชฌกูฏ [เขา-คิด-ชะ-กูด] เป็นอำเภอหนึ่งของ จังหวัดจันทบุรี เดิมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของอำเภอมะขาม เป็นอำเภอที่ตั้งอยู่บริเวณกลางจังหวัดและยังเป็นที่ตั้งของอุทยานแห่งชาติเขาคิชฌกูฏ และพระบาทเขาคิชฌกูฏ หรือ พระบาทพลวง เป็นที่ประดิษฐานของรอยพระพุทธบาทที่อยู่สูงที่สุดในประเทศไทย สูงกว่า 1,050 เมตร จากระดับน้ำทะเล ถือว่าสูงที่สุดในเขตอุทยานแห่งชาติเขาคิชฌกูฏ "รอยพระพุทธบาท” ค้นพบที่ยอดเขาพระบาทจากที่ทำการอุทยานเขาคิชฌกูฏราว 4 กิโลเมตร
